Privacy Policy

What we collect, and why

• Newsletter. Your email address and the page you signed up from, so we can send the newsletter.
• Project briefs. Your name, email, organisation, the kind of project, the services you ticked and your message, so we can reply and scope the work.
• Event submissions. Your name, email, organisation and the event's details and link, so we can consider featuring it.
• Accounts. Your email address and a password (stored by our database provider, never readable by us), or your basic Google profile if you sign in with Google.
• The Studio tool. The answers you give and the brand read it generates. Signed in, these are saved to your account; signed out, they stay in your browser.
• Purchases. Your email, what you bought, the amount and currency, and the payment references Stripe gives us. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
• The Playground. Your progress (the Adinkra you've found) is kept in your own browser, not sent to us.

Who processes it for us

• Supabase stores the forms above, runs accounts and delivers paid downloads.
• Stripe processes payments.
• Vercel hosts the site; like any web host it keeps short-lived server logs, including IP addresses.
• Perplexity receives your Studio answers to generate the brand read.
• Google serves our fonts, and handles sign-in if you choose Google.
• Spotify players embedded on the music pages, and our booking calendar when you book a call, load from those services and may set their own cookies.

Cookies and browser storage

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser's local storage keeps you signed in, keeps Studio profiles you haven't saved to an account, and keeps your Playground progress. Embedded players and the booking calendar follow their own cookie policies.

How long we keep it

Newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Briefs and event submissions for as long as we need them to respond and for our records. Purchase records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Accounts until you ask us to delete them.

What you can ask us

Email info@ymdmedia.co to get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, or to unsubscribe. We'll answer within 30 days.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

When this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. See also our Terms and Refund and cancellation policy.
